IYF Football Volunteers

Issaquah Youth Football is a 100% volunteer-run organization. Parent participation is mandatory to sustain the organization and IYF has many volunteer opportunities each year. We do realize that in some cases it may not be possible to volunteer, in those cases we request a minimum $50 donation be made to the organization.Your volunteer hours may be elgible for corporate volunteer matching programs!!!

IYF is required to conduct background checks on Coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the program and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players or teams.The online volunteer application is to be completed prior to the season’s first practice.

Corporate Volunteer Hour Matching

Did you know that your company might match your volunteer time contributions?

Many local companies reward volunteer time with a donation of cash grants to non-profits in which their employees volunteer.For each hour of your volunteer time, your employer may donate money to Issaquah Youth Football. Some local employers are known to contribute up to $17 per hour volunteered.

Please ask your human resources department whether your organization participates in programs that reimburse 501(c)(3) charitable youth sports organizations and help contribute to IYF’s success!

Corporate Donation Matching

Operating a youth football program is expensive.Your child’s registration fee helps to cover the costs of such items as uniforms, player equipment, practice and game field rental fees, officials, insurance, coaching equipment, safety education, and player development.We do, however, still rely on fundraising to offset the costs.

Please consider making an additional cash contribution to IYF. As a 501(c)(3), your contributions to IYF are tax deductible and your employer may even match your contribution.
