Uniforms and Equipment 
 

IYF provides your player with quality, certified equipment needed for playing football. You must, therefore, use the equipment given to you during the distribution of said equipment. This includes:

  • Helmet
  • Shoulder pads
  • Mouth guard
  • Practice and game pants
  • Game socks
  • Home and Away jerseys

 

The use of non-certified equipment is prohibited.

This equipment must be returned (with the exception of mouth guard, socks and game jerseys) in good condition at the end of the season.  To assure return of the equipment, a deposit of $200 is required (check or credit card authorization).  If the equipment is not returned in good condition the deposit will be forfeited.

Shoes, practice socks and practice jerseys are not provided.


Jersey Care Instructions

DO NOT wear game jerseys in practices

Wash in cold water only

Use a mild detegent

Wash with like colors

DO NOT USE CHLORINE BLEACH (Such as Clorox)

Heavily soiled garments (grass, dirt, mud, food/drink stains) may need pre-treatment:

  • Pre-treatment, stain remover spray products, such as Shout or Spray and Wash should be put on fifteen (15) minutes prior to washing (but do not let it dry on the fabric or it may leave a residue stain)
  • Pre-treatment, stain remover gel products, such as Stick Stain, Shout Gel, or OxyClean Gel can be rubbed on stubborn stains and left overnight for washing the next day

Hang to dry - DO NOT put jerseys in the dryer as it will damage the numbers and lettering

DO NOT Dry Clean or Iron Jerseys
